Vicky Wright, comedian Bobby Davro’s fiancée and the daughter of footballer Billy Wright, passed away.
Her daughter Kelly made the ‘extremely heartbreaking’ announcement of her passing on Wednesday.
In April, Davro, 64, told the Daily Star Sunday tabloid that his girlfriend had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Kelly posted the following on Wright’s Twitter page: “Hello everyone… I have some shockingly terrible news to give…
“My wonderful mother Vicky passed away this morning,” he said. She treasured your love and support in so many ways, therefore I wanted to use this platform to let you all know.
Billy Wright, a former Wolverhampton Wanderers player who represented England from September 1946 to May 1959 and became the first Englishman to receive 100 caps, was Wright’s father.
After retiring, Billy Wright became a TV football analyst.
