Vera Putina husband: Who is Giorgi Osepahvili?

There is little known about Vladimir Putin’s personal life, and much less about the 96-year-old woman in Georgia who claims to be his estranged mother. Vera Putina, as she refers to herself, claims to be Putin’s biological mother, claiming that she abandoned him as a youngster in Russia with his grandmother.

Putin attended school in Georgia until the third grade and then repeated a few grades when he relocated to Russia, according to Putina. Her husband did not want Putin with them, and she was anxious about having to support him, so she took him to Russia and put him in the care of her mother.

The Kremlin, as has become standard in recent years, quickly refuted the tale, dismissing Putina’s assertions as a “crazy story.” Interestingly, this is not a new development, since Putina has been claiming her relationship with Vladimir Putin since 1999, predating his presidency and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. She began making these accusations after seeing Putin on television as a KGB agent, however they have never been formally substantiated.

Putin was born in 1950 and brought to live in Russia at the age of nine, according to these journalists, but his maternal grandfather placed him in an orphanage. Putin is well-known for keeping his personal life private, including giving his two daughters new names.

Vera Putina husband: Who is Giorgi Osepahvili?

Giorgi Osepahvili, a Georgian soldier, and Putina were wed. Her husband pushed her to abandon her “son” Putin. She sent “Vova” back to his Russian grandparents in December 1960. Putina believes that the St. Petersburg-based “parents” stated in Putin’s official biography actually adopted Putin’s son from his grandparents.
