Father Adam was arrested two years after Harmony Montgomery went missing, but who reported her missing in the first place? Read on to find out.
Manchester Police started making inquiries starting December 27 to find out when and where Harmony was last seen.
Adam Montgomery’s uncle, Kevin Montgomery, reported to authorities on New Year’s Eve that he had not contacted Harmony or her father since October 2019.
Though her mother, Crystal Renee Sorey, expressed her concerns regarding her daughter multiple times to the police department, Harmony was only recently reported missing, more than two years after her last sighting.
In 24 hours, the reward for finding Harmony increased from $12,500 to $33,000; it is at $43K.
NOW: Adam Montgomery, father of Harmony Montgomery, had his court appearance waived. Unclear when he’ll be back in court on charges including 2nd-degree assault.
To those who hopped on #WFLANow, thanks for the (brief) #HeyJB discussion.

Harmony Montgomery Missing Reported By Her Mother Crystal Renee
Harmony Montgomery was reported missing for the first time to the Manchester Police Department when her mother, Crystal Renee Sorey, called the department on November 18 to file a missing person report.
In it, she said how she had lost contact with her daughter.
The affidavit mentioned that her mother noticed her daughter looked afraid during their last FaceTime call in April of 2019.
Crystal stated that she had lost custody of Harmony to Adam in July 2018 due to her drug addiction and that he had also struggled with substance misuse issues.
After people started attacking her online, pushing her past in front of her, she wrote in all-caps on Facebook, “Myself & her family have filed dozens of reports of abuse & neglect & nothing was done until I called the police & wrote a letter to the NH mayor.”
Father Of Adam Harmony Montgomery Arrested
Harmony Montgomery’s ex-convict father, Adam Montgomery, was arrested in New Hampshire on several charges relating to her disappearance in October of 2019. The charges against Adam were a felony, assault, and child endangerment.
The 31-year-old was arrested after searches revealed that he beat his daughter, which resulted in a black eye in July 2019.
Montgomery has a history of criminal offenses in two states and drug abuse.
Adam’s arrest affidavit contains a statement that details how he was the reason behind his daughter’s black eye after receiving custody of his daughter six months prior.
According to the lawsuit, Montgomery’s uncle described Adam’s unabashed remark regarding the beating, “I bashed her around this house.”
He was also accused of slapping his daughter on the buttocks. Allegedly, he would make her stand in a corner for hours on end. He was a cruel parent who would make his flesh and blood clean the house with her toothbrush.
