More than a week since the 24-year-old Antioch resident Thomas Howe went missing. Still, no updates on what happened after the crash.
On January 22, Antioch resident Thomas Howe went missing following a crash on I-94 near Libertyville.
He was reported missing a week before to the Antioch Police Department, saying he was off for an appointment in Vernon Hills.
The Vernon Hills Police Department said that he was involved in a crash on Interstate 94 at mile marker 16.75 near Libertyville, and right after the crash, he went strolling in an unknown direction.
The police department, alongside his friends and family, conducted several search programs, but none of them turned out fruitful. Yet the cops are convincing them, saying they are giving their best searching for the young man.
Update: Who Is Tommy Howe Missing Antioch Il?
Thomas Howe, a 5-foot-8-inches tall man with brown hair and brown eyes, was wearing a gray North Face jacket, jeans, and black and white Vans when he was last seen.
The police initiated the search immediately after he was reported missing the Saturday evening. But even after an overnight search, his whereabouts remained invisible.
After the Saturday overnight search, the police discovered on Sunday afternoon that he had an employer-issued cell phone, leaving his personal phone in the car.
Following the finding, the police immediately initiated the investigation trying, to locate him but no success in hand.
Dead Or Alive – Is Thomas Howe Found?
The chances are equal as there is no sign of Thomas living or dead. Although police received a few sighting reports, none of them have been confirmed.
Following the search failure, the department initiated its operation Monday morning, expanding to a large area of 4,500 acres of the Old School Forest Preserve.
Finally, the police seem to have a lead as the Antioch Police Chief Geoff Guttschow said, “We located his employer-issued cell phone in the snow within the Forest Preserve itself and since that time, we have been following up leads and kind of expanding our search, looking all over for this kid.”
Further, the department has launched a widespread search as they do not know why Tommy left the traffic collision spot and in which direction.
