Uncle Murda Biography
Uncle Murda, named Leonard Grant, is a rapper in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up on the Cypress Hills project. He went to L-Gurder (short for name) by people who knew him. He got the name of “Uncle Murda” from Uncle Muda.
Murda is busy on New York City’s underground track, which began to take a severe hit in 2006. Until he announced the hit “Bullet Bullet”, which connects DJ Green Lantern and DJ Cut Master C, to achieve mixed green, another “Run The City” finally gained mainstream attention. Uncle Murda was called “not interested in hip-hop music” because of stubborn lyrics to the life of gangs living in slums. He has his own rapper, GMG, which stands for “Getting Money Gangstas”.
In 2007, DJ Green Lantern and DJ Clue introduced Uncle Murda’s music to Jay-Z. The Brooklyn-born rapper / CEO eventually signed Roc-A-Fella Records with his uncle. They took him on the track of Brooklyn (an album from Nothin to From Somethin), sang with popular companions Fabolous and Jay-Z, and immediately started promoting him to the rapper, everything seemed to work. However, there are rumors that his fragile uncle left Dejem in late 2008. In an interview with DJ Vlad, Uncle Murda confirmed the rumor, claiming that everything changed after Jay-Z came out of Def Jam and Roc-a-fella Records. He said, “I don’t have HD Jam anymore.” “Jay-Z left as you know, the problem is still not resolved. After that, I don’t know what to do with Uncle Murda.” It’s still important to you , But I’m still that person. The artist has removed the uncle murder from the Def Jam list on the Def Jam website.
