A suicide note was apparently discovered in the residence, indicating that the death was caused by suicide.
According to CNN, a statement stated, although Kate had not been associated with the company for more than a decade, she, her husband, and her creative partner, Andy, were the founders of their cherished brand. They further added that Katie would be dearly missed.
According to reports, Spade wrote a suicide note for her 13-year-old daughter, Frances Beatrix Spade, in which she told her that the death was not her fault.
