Ulysses Samuel “Ukee” Washington III (born August 20, 1958) is an American news co-anchor for KYW-TV in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he co-anchors the weekday morning broadcast on weekdays. He co-hosts Talk Philly with Pat Ciarrocchi, which airs weekdays at noon on CBS 3 and The CW Philadelphia, and he leads Eyewitness News This Morning on CBS 3 and The CW Philadelphia with co-anchor Erika Von Tiehl. Washington is also the son of Ulysses S. Washington, a distinguished professor at Delaware State University who was also a former football coach. Nate Allen, a Philadelphia Eagles safety, has revealed that he is also the Godfather of the player. This was revealed in a radio interview conducted by Nate Allen. He attended the University of Richmond and is an outspoken supporter of the Spiders basketball team, which represents the institution.
