Though not interested, Moreno was also involved in the family business since the age of 12. According to him, he was never very good at it.
It was the same year when he started MMA training in 2005.
However, he developed a keen interest in the game and was highly supported by his parents.
His mother explained how they initially considered it a hobby and were not serious about it, but now that he is making a living through the same game, they are proud of him.
“At first, I thought MMA was a hobby for him,” Moreno’s mother, Cecilia Carrillo, explained. “I had always wished for him to study and attend college.
“It was critical to me that he choose a better career so that he could have a good life. But he never faltered; he was always training, and he enjoyed it. He had been setting goals for himself since he was a child.”
