Jaime Jaquez’s injury update makes him a big question for the Sweet 16 match against North Carolina.
It was a difficult sight watching Jaime Jaquez walk with his injured leg on the match against Saint Mary’s.
He took some time to reach the bench and spent the rest of the game with an ice bandage on his ankle rather than playing for the team.
UCLA won the game pretty easily with a good point difference but it is their upcoming match that the fans are tensed about.
Jaquez didn’t train with the team on Tuesday and the coach also didn’t know when he will be fit to play.
So, there is a high chance that the athlete will miss the sweet 16 round tie.
Jaime Jaquez Injury Update 2022
Jaime Jaquez’s injury update and recovery are going well but the exact date of his return is unknown.
With an important game lurking around the back, people will want their starter to be back on the court as soon as possible.
But it is not quite going according to the plan.
Jaquez’s injury doesn’t seem to be that bad to keep out for long but the next game is a big doubt for him.
When speaking about the update, the coach said that he was preparing two game plans, with and without Jaime.
This clearly says that the player is not yet in a good shape and even if he is able to play, he won’t be at 100%.
