Tyler Summitt is the only son of the late Pat Summitt, who served as the head coach of the Tennessee Lady Vols teams for a long time. Unfortunately, Tyler is now in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons even though he did his best to follow in his mom’s footsteps by pursuing a coaching career.

Ross Tyler Summitt was born on September 21, 1990, in Knoxville, Tennessee as the unmarried son of the late Pat Summit and her ex-husband RB Summitt, II. Summitt gravitated to basketball, as he used to follow his mom to practice and travel to games and more. He played basketball in high school with his mom coaching him and was very good at it. He continued to play while attending the University of Tennessee through his college career was only short term, as he only played for two seasons. But he didn’t give up basketball, he just focused on following in his mom’s footsteps to become a head coach.
