Trevor Noah had surgery last year at Hospital for Special Surgeries.

He was the patient of Dr. Riley J. Williams between 25 August to 17 December 2020. As for the type of operation, it remains unknown. However, the doctor’s profile on the hospital’s website suggests that he is a specialist in the knee, shoulder, and elbow.

Besides this one, Trevor also underwent an emergency appendectomy in 2015.

Trevor Noah filed a lawsuit against a New City Hospital and orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Riley J. Williams.

He is suing them for a surgery he underwent on 23 November 2020.

As for Trevor’s allegations, both the hospital and the doctor were careless in his treatment. He accuses them of failing to use proper tests and examinations to diagnose the conditions. Likewise, he claimed they didn’t use approved methods in his care and treatment.

He additionally addressed the failure of both the hospital and the surgeon in prescribing proper medication and discontinuing certain prescription medications. As an aftermath, he suffered a severe personal injury, which resulted in a loss of enjoyment for life. Some are even parmenant.

However, a hospital’s representative addressed the claims and called them meritless. HSS received the complaint and gave a rebuttal to the comedian’s attorney. HIPAA restricts them from addressing specific aspects of any patient’s treatment publically.

The person also talked about the hospital’s commitment to excellent care for the subject’s treatment each year. Seemingly, such dedication made HSS the leading medical center specialized in musculoskeletal health.

As for the arrest of the surgeon, it remains unknown. There isn’t even a single one suggesting that.
