Trevor Nelson is thought to have been married previously. He thought he had found his soul mate at the time. The couple divorced after only a few years. At the moment, he is currently single and has been focused on his career.
Nelson, a pioneer in the urban music scene, began his broadcasting career as “Madhatter” in 1985 on London’s Kiss FM, which was originally a pirate radio station before gaining a license in 1990.
Nelson worked as a daytime DJ as well as a director. In 2002, he was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for his contribution to the Millennium Volunteers program. His first job was in a shoe store, but his passion for music led to a part-time job as a DJ.
