Scott lived with his grandmother from ages one to six but later moved to the suburbs, where his father ran his own business. Scott graduated from Elkins High School then later attended the University of Texas at San Antonio before dropping out to fully pursue his music career.

At the age of 16, Scott embarked on his musical career as a record producer, with a focus on hip hop production. He subsequently entered his first partnership with his longtime friend, Chris Holloway, forming the duo The Graduates. In 2008, the duo released their untitled first EP on a social networking website, Myspace.
The following year, Scott and OG Chess, one of Travis’s schoolmates, formed the group The Classmates. The Classmates released two projects, with Buddy Rich in 2009 and Cruis’n USA in 2010. Scott mainly handled production work on both projects.
The duo remained together until late 2012 when personal conflicts and financial disputes led to the disbandment of the group After leaving college, Scott moved from Houston, Texas to Washington, New York, where Scott began working with friend Mike Waxx, who owned the music website Illroots.
Eventually frustrated in New York, Scott moved to Los Angeles, California four months later. Atlanta-based rapper and owner of Grand Hustle Records T.I. would later hear one of Scott’s productions, titled “Lights (Love Sick)”. While in Los Angeles, T.I.’s representative contacted Scott, asking him to attend a studio for a meeting.
During the meeting, T.I. freestyled over “Animal”, one of Scott’s productions. In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label deal with Epic Records. In November of the same year, Scott signed a deal with Kanye West’s GOOD Music, to be a part of its production wing Very GOOD Beats, after appearing on the label’s 2012 compilation album Cruel Summer.
In April 2013, it was announced Scott signed a record deal with T.I.’s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott’s first full-length project, a mixtape titled Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in May 2013. This was followed with a second mixtape, titled Days Before Rodeo, in August 2014.
Scott’s debut studio album Rodeo was released in September 2015 and was led by the hit single “Antidote”, which reached the top 20 of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. His second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, was released in September 2016, to generally positive reviews.

Travis Scott, who’s in the midst of his raucous Astroworld Tour, took the time to grace the cover of the latest Rolling Stone issue, the interview for which was released online Thursday (Dec. 20). The in-depth profile examines Scott’s life in his hometown of Houston, right around the time he put on his first Astroworld Festival last month.
The 26-year-old teases the idea of marrying reality star girlfriend Kylie Jenner, who just tied Jay-Z nearly atop Forbes’ annual celebrity wealth list for 2018, but promises that the proposal has to be something special. “We’ll get married soon. I just gotta sturdy up — I gotta propose in a fire way,” he says.
La Flame later touches on the origins of their relationship and how misunderstood Jenner can be to the public eye. “People don’t understand how real my girl is. How ill she is. They have assumptions, bullshit-ass remarks of what they think is going on. She’s the coolest motherfucker of all time,” Scott declares of the mother of his child. ” it got to a point where I was like, ‘I need her with me to operate. She’s that one.”
Scott also answers questions about his mentor Kanye West’s support of Donald Trump, a hot button topic at the time. “I mean, shit, I’d tell him, ‘Bro, chill. Travis Scott ”Strongly” Denies Report That He Cheated on Kylie Jenner
Travis Scott is slamming claims that he cheated on Kylie Jenner.
His rep tells E! News that the “Sicko Mode” rapper “strongly” denies any allegations of cheating on the makeup mogul and insists there was no fight between the pair. “The reason he stayed home from his show tonight was very much because of illness,” the rep explains.
Earlier on Thursday, Scott tweeted, “Buffalo I’m so sorry I can’t perform tonight. I’m under the weather and it fucking sucks! Can’t pull up without full rage.”
However, one tabloid reports that Travis isn’t really sick. The site alleges that Kylie and Travis got into an explosive fight after the rapper traveled home to visit with their daughter Stormi Webster while on a short break from his tour.
But, as Travis says, the truth is simply that he is sick.

What’s more, there’ll be a dedicated pop-up event held in Paris tomorrow (June 25) in celebration of the snack’s arrival.
