Ashley began her career after graduating from University, in 2014, she appeared on NickMom Night Out. In 1993, she got to be appointed as a Cruise Director at Dolphin cruise Lines’ Seabreeze and being the first African -American woman. She used to manage a staff of 25 to 50 people while overseeing onboard activities.
Having an interest in comedy from her childhood tons of material for her comedy, and the unique experiences she had with each family made her a natural storyteller. She decided to pursue comedy as her passion. Later, she performed various comedy skits at her college feast and her first performance was on the college campuses and various comedy clubs across the United States.
With a favorite among college students and was nominated as Best Female Performer by Campus Activities Magazine. She then became one of the semi-finalists on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and as well worked as a co-host on TV Lands’s Prime Movies. Ashley also had the honor of appearing on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network’s comedy special, Wanda Sykes Presents HERLARIOUS.
She had her breakthrough in Hollywood came when she starred “Wanda Sykes Presents: Herlarious”. In 2016, she was featured appeared as Karen on The Don’t We Boys: Sketch Corp, and it was aired on the OWN Network. In 2018, she featured in the TV series “The Last O.G.” and appeared along with fellow comedians Tracy Morgan and Tiffany Haddish. Additionally, she as well served as a show’s staff writer for all 10 Episode of Season 2 in 2019.
