The chef announced her pregnancy news via Instagram on July 2022; she shared a video that featured her partner and her pregnancy bump.
Karen posted a video of her daughter for the first time in October 2022, nine days after her birth.
A few days later the new mother expressed on Instagram how she can’t wait to take her child home. Akunowicz never misses a chance to gush about her bundle of joy and is seen sharing monthly birthday pictures of Rogue.
As per Karen’s post on February 27, Rogue is currently five months old. For her 5 months birthday, she was seen wearing a cute striped jumpsuit which was gifted by her aunt Kristie.
The Chef Married Her Wife Twice In May 2014
Top chef Karen Akunowicz wife LJ Johnson is the co-owner of Fox & the Knife restaurant. LJ George Johnson and Karen married secretly on May 29 at Boston City Hall.
The pair remarried in front of friends and family two days later on May 31. They exchanged their vows on Lavender Farm in Maine.
For the secret wedding, Akunowicz wore a simple dress with a queen anne neckline paired with a denim jacket and Johnson wore a dark-colored suit with denim pants.
The bride had a different look for the second marriage, she wore a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline and accessorized the look with a simple necklace.
The couple has been happily wedded for eight years and their love for each other is stronger than before.
During their 6th wedding anniversary, Akunowicz mentioned their marriage story and thanked LJ for supporting her through all the highs and lows.
Despite their hectic schedules, the married duo make time for each other and enjoy their date nights and vacations.
LJ is not just Karen’s life partner but also her business partner. LJ’s birthday falls on February 14 and she is 42 years old. The couple has an age gap of three years.
