Tony McPhee death: How did Tony McPhee die?

Tony McPhee was an English musician who lived from 23 March 1944 to 6 June 2023. In the middle of the 1960s, he founded the blues rock band Groundhogs, who opened shows for John Lee Hooker and Champion Jack Dupree in the UK. Frequently, people refer to him as Tony (T.S.) McPhee. When McPhee and Champion Jack Dupree released the duet “Get Your Head Happy!” in 1966, producer Mike Vernon suggested adding the letters “T.S.” to McPhee’s name to make it sound more like a blues moniker.

The Groundhogs transformed into a blues-rock trio in the start of the 1970s, and they scored three UK Top 10 songs on the UK Albums Chart. However, they have been playing up till now in various lineups.
