Tommy Romero is an American Major League Baseball player for Tampa Bay Rays

The 24-year-old righty is one of the more underrated pitching prospects in the minors.

He logged a 3.18 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, and 70 strikeouts in 62.1 innings at Triple-A last season and should spend a good chunk of next season working in the majors, either as a starter or reliever.

Romero was added to the Rays’ 40-man roster Friday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
