Walker was born in Kilsyth, near Glasgow, but at the age of three, his family moved to the Cheshire town of Knutsford. He described his upbringing as being in a ‘Glaswegian house’ as his parents were Glaswegian sounding.

Walker recently proposed to his longtime girlfriend Annie, 27. About six years ago, Walker met his bride-to-be while on vacation.
Going through a heartbreak at the time, he decided to join a friend on a ski trip in France, where he was introduced to Annie, who recently earned a master’s degree in nutrition and works as a healthcare advisor.
Tom said, “It was a 24-hour coach journey back to the U.K. from France, and we ended up sitting next to each other because my best friend I’d gone with ended up getting with her friend that she was with, so he was sitting with her and we swapped seats and then we sat together and chatted for the whole journey back,” he recalls.
