Tom Topping, an Irish businessman, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022. He was in his 70’s.
A former hotel owner, Topping died after a suspected farm accident near his Co Antrim home.
He owned Topping Meats, a big supplier in Co Antrim, and previously ran the Highways Hotel in Larne.
His daughter, Louise Topping in a Facebook post on Tuesday said;
“To say our world is totally shattered is an understatement”.
“Kenneth Topping, myself Alan & Jo Topping would like to thank everyone who attended the scene, have sent kind wishes and called with us”.
“We would like to ask that the family home is given privacy at this time to let Tom’s close family & friends come to terms with this tragedy”, Louise wrote.
“Further details will follow when we know more ourselves, she added.
Tom Topping is survived by his children; Kenneth, Louise and Alan Topping.
A post on Funeral Times indicates that; A service of thanksgiving for Tom’s life will be held in his house on Saturday 13th August 2022 at 2.30 pm and afterwards to the Glynn Cemetery.
“Will be loved and remembered always by his sons, daughter, daughter-in-law Jo and grandchildren Lee, Kirsty, Rachel and Rae,” it added.
