Tipping Point: Is Henry Blofeld Still Alive or Dead?
Henry Blofeld is still alive and well, even at 82. As he reaches his 82nd birthday in September after a successful broadcasting career, he has no plans to slow down any time soon.
But he was being diagnosed with angina in 1999; he underwent a double heart bypass operation and was given the last rites after nearly dying in critical care.
The coronavirus outbreak has just fueled his desire to fill his schedule with as many engagements as possible.
He quit as a commentator in 2017 owing to declining eyesight, making commercials, writing books, acting in theater, and giving talks on cruise ships to lockdown.
He stated he needs the excitement that comes from his hectic life, and he was worried that now that he is nearly 82, he wouldn’t be able to get it back while lockdown was in effect.
Henry is still living life to the fullest, although he is in his eighties.
