Tim Minchin is an Australian comedian, actor, musician, and writer. He is the father of two children Violet and Casper. His daughter Violet was born in 2006 and his son Casper was born in 2009.
Tim, Sarah and their two children, Violet and Caspar having lived in London and then Los Angeles returned to Australia to set up a home in Sydney at the end of 2017.
Tim Minchin gained international recognition through his musical comedy acts, which often feature him playing the piano and incorporating witty and thought-provoking lyrics. Minchin’s songs cover a wide range of topics, including religion, politics, environmentalism, and societal issues.
