Thor: Love and Thunder released this summer, 2022 set groundbreaking revelations for the Thor series.
The movie of nearly 2 hours has a well-built storyline with a concrete plot twist, which gives a thrilling action pack experience. Directed by Taika Waititi, under the Budget of $225M features an emotional and romantic journey where Thor searches for inner peace. This journey is however obstructed by the supervillain named ‘Gorr’ The God Butcher, he is one of the wanted galactic killers who roam among the planets and seeks the extinction of god. Even though a well-built MCU movie, there had been rumors about its inadequate innovation throughout the movie.
Rotten Tomatoes rates it with only 68% saying that “it offers enough fast-paced fun to make this a worthy addition to the MCU”. While the audience rates it 79% giving it high credibility than the film critics.
Embracing the full genre of superhero movies, Waititi seems to stage Hemsworth and Portman into an emotional chemistry character by extending the flashback relationship. As the break-up with Thor was visualized in the past series, Jane Foster visits the Asgardians again and joins the forces together to confront Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale). This signifies that all the characters had put their past behind them and decided to look forward to confronting the Super Villain. The huge battle to stop the Gorr takes place, where the Gorr seems to be an advantage as he is the God Slayer that roams around the cosmos.
On the other hand, popular Film Critic, ‘Richard Brody claims Thor: Love and Thunder seem far from the worst of Marvel big-screen offerings, saying that it gives a “sense of purpose leavened with the puckish spirit of Saturday-morning cartoons”. This seems to be due to the simplistic clarity of the story and its melodramatic pretext. No wonder IMBD gave 6.9 to MCU and it becomes a movie to remember anyway. most fans have taken movies as the major indicator of Thors turning point in future days.
