Twitter can be very particular about its guidelines and policies and once those policies are violated, that user is banned from accessing his or her Twitter account. YouTuber Nikita Dragun seems to be the latest to be suspended from the social media platform.
The reason was that she was using a certain picture which violated twitter policies. The picture has, however, now been changed. Her fans were not happy with twitter’s decision to suspend her account, however, the YouTuber seemed unfazed.
Nikita shared twitter’s reason for suspending her account on her Instagram Stories. The specific reason was that her account had violated the social media platform’s rules against graphic violence or adult content in profile pictures.
The reason went on to say that ” We consider graphic violence to be any form of gory media related to death, serious injury, violence, or surgical procedures. We consider adult content to be any media that is pornographic and/or maybe included to cause sexual arousal.”
Nikita’s profile picture which triggered the suspension was the image of a hermaphrodite, which seemed to be from an old painting. She later changed her profile picture so she was able to get her account back.
