Theuns Jordaan Net Worth, Income, Salary, Earnings, Biography

A South African singer and composer, Theuns Jordaan was born on January 10, 1971, in Johannesburg. After graduating from the University of Stellenbosch, where he was studying industrial psychology, his first job required him to work long hours at restaurants in the surrounding region of the University of Stellenbosch. His first public appearance took place on October 21, 1992, at a small bar named Upstairs. After becoming involved in the local music scene, Theuns began writing his own lyrics, which resulted in the five songs that comprise his first album, Vreemde Stad (Village of the Lost). Following the completion of his education, Theuns worked as an entrepreneur for a year. In October 1998, he relocated from the Cape to Gauteng, particularly Pretoria, to pursue a new opportunity.

After acquiring fame in the city, he chose Stellenbosch as the location for the recording of his first album, Vreemde Stad. This CD was launched in 2000 during the Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees, which was an arts festival in the Klein Karoo region of South Africa. Vreemde Stad was released by EMI a short time later, and the album achieved triple platinum certification (selling 150 000 copies) in July of that year. Tjailatyd, his second studio album, was released at the Aardklop music festival in 2002, and it went on to sell more than 150.000 copies worldwide. Vreemde Stad and Tjailatyd were both produced by Anton L’Amour, a South African guitarist who had previously played with Theuns and was responsible for all of the guitar recordings.
