Meet Theresa Coates Ellis’s Husband
Theresa and her husband, Geroge Ellis, have an interesting story of how they initially met. The Ellises met online in their 40s, 13 years ago.
Their meeting was so successful that their photo was featured on the eHarmony website as an eHarmony success pair. They both were previously married for more than 19 years.
Before marrying, they had their small businesses, and each had three daughters. Theresa also had a son who was already living his adult life.
After meeting for the first time through the dating app, they did not meet for two months when suddenly George asked her out for dinner for the second time, and they hit it off after that.
Their daughters, aged 13-20 at the time, met each other after Theresa and George saw each other for a couple of months. After about six months, they got engaged in June 2009.
After Theresa’s annulment, the pair married twice, once at St. Paul’s and then at All Saints Catholic Church in October 2009. They are now happily settled with their six daughters under one roof.

The six girls that came blended into the family are now all adults. Allison, 32, is a film director in Los Angeles, Kathryn, 27, is working on her Ph.D. in Florida, and Laura, 24, is in real estate in Manassas.
Additionally, Christine, 31, runs the front desk in a family clinic in Manassas; Natalie, 27, lives in Colorado Springs and teaches for the military; and Jillian, 26, attends George Mason University.
The mother of seven also has an elder son in the U.S. Air Force and is married to Laura Riggles Coates with two young sons, Colby and Jaxon.
