He is best known as the former chairman of Millwall Football Club and for his appearances on the BBC, business show Dragons’ Den.

According to a page of Wikipedia, Paphitis has made much of his money in the retail industry. He reportedly sold his financial holding in the lingerie firm La Senza for £100 million in 2006.

He owns the stationery store Ryman, the homewares store Robert Dyas, and the lingerie store Boux Avenue.

Paphitis was chosen Chancellor of Solent University in Southampton in May 2018.

On October 11, 2018, Paphitis was confirmed as the university’s chancellor. He’ll be there for at least three years.

He purchased the hardware shop Robert Dyas in July 2012.

And after such achievements, Theo Paphitis purchased London Graphic Centre, a specialty arts and stationery business headquartered in London’s Covent Garden, in October 2016.
