Thendele Camp is made of two accommodation units, the older original camp – Lower Camp Thendele, and the more recently built, Upper Camp.
Thendele Camp has panoramic views of the spectacular Amphitheatre of the Drakensberg and overlooks the Thukela Gorge and waterfall.
There is another trail, this to the foot of the Tugela Falls which starts from Thendele Camp.
