The Full Fact’s CEO Will Moy One Ear Story Explained
Will Moy, CEO of Full Fact’s one ear, has raised numerous concerns among his followers.
Moy explained to one of his followers via Twitter that he had his ear amputated to prevent infection. Furthermore, he stated he had a condition called, Microtia Congenital.
Microtia occurs when the external ear is too small and not properly formed. These flaws can range from barely noticeable to a major issue with how the ear formed.
NCBI reported that it can appear as a single birth defect or as part of a cluster of anomalies or a syndrome. Microtia is frequently associated with hearing loss, and patients generally require hearing impairment treatment as well as surgical ear reconstruction.
The reported prevalence ranges from 0.83 to 17.4 per 10,000 births, with Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans, and Andeans having a higher prevalence.
Although Microtia did not require ear amputation, he did develop a severe ear infection at some point in his life. He had to amputate his ear to prevent the disease from spreading to other parts of his body.
Thus, we can only see one of his ears, which is barely noticeable.
Will Moy Is A CEO Of Full Fact

Moy was working as a researcher for Lord Low and had noticed that lobbyists frequently provided inaccurate briefings to legislators.
Whereas Samuel was concerned about accuracy in public debate for some time. Julia Neuberger introduced Moy and Samuel, and they began working together.
Moy, 38, recalls working as a 23-year-old assistant for crossbencher Colin Low in 2007 (Wired).
He, like all politicians, received cartloads of briefings, reports, and evidence from lobbying organizations, charities, and pressure groups attempting to sway lawmakers.
“Some of it was bollocks,” Moy says. “Some of that nonsense was picked up by important people making important decisions.”
“And it was very frustrating to witness how bad information can result in incorrect decisions that individuals wouldn’t have made if they had access to better information.”
He was convinced he could create such a body and pitched the concept to legislators and political journalists. “They said right away, ‘This sounds like a significant thing to do.'”
“You don’t get that kind of response from those people unless they’re serious,” he says. The project secured funding and has been working to offer reliable information to the public.
