If you like sitcoms, then you know that the title of “king of sitcoms” is none other than Chuck Lorre (born as Charles Michael Levine). The king of sitcoms has teamed up with Bill Prady and Steven Molaro as lead producers and writers to create the Big Bang Theory series. So it was no surprise that the series was a real blast.
The Big Bang Theory Season 12 Episode 1 kicked off with Sheldon and Amy’s honeymoon in New York. Sheldon displays the uncanny desire to plan their sex life much to Amy’s chagrin. Raj sparks a Twitter feud with famed American astrophysicist, Neil Degrasse Tyson, as Mr. Fowler, Amy’s father, is seen hiding from his wife but is scared home by Penny.
The newlyweds struggled to understand their wedding gift from Leonard and his wife which turned out to be a gift from Raj to Howard and then from Howard to Leonard. Raj, meanwhile, is desperate for a relationship and turns to his father for help finding a wife. His father chooses Anu whose dominating attitude leads him to propose his marriage to Raj. Yes, he agreed and rose by giving Leonard and Penny a relationship questionnaire to complete. This reveals that Penny does not want children, while Leonard accepts her wish. Meanwhile, Stuart “stupidly” started bringing Denise home in the evenings.
Sheldon made up with Tam, his childhood Texan friend who dumped him for a girlfriend as Penny and Bernadette try to form a friendship with Anu, which embarrasses Raj. Like all newlyweds, Sheldon and Amy struggle to juggle career and time; Sheldon hurts his wife but apologizes. Also, after much skepticism, Raj allows Leonard to join him on his show and all goes well.
Halloween comes with a lot of drama and hurtful actions for the group and right after that Bernadette starts going to Haley for some alone time and is soon joined by Penny. Anu eventually had sex with Raj after a failed attempt, as Sheldon bonded tightly with his stepmother in order to trick him into thinking his stepfather prefers Howard and his magic.
Also, Leonard’s conclusion to a document that refutes Sheldon and Amy’s claims of super asymmetry and leads them to depression until an old VHS tape gives them hope. The following Big Bang Theory Season 12 episodes promise more interesting drama, even as the sitcom comes to an end.
The Big Bang Theory Season 12 Release Date
Season 1 began on September 24, 2007 and is now the twelfth and final season of the multi-award winning series. Big Bang Theory Season 12 premiered exactly eleven years after September 1 on September 24, 2018. It consists of 24 episodes similar to previous seasons from 4 to 11. After its release, it resumed its normal weekly broadcast Thursday on television.
The decision for this season to be the last was reached when Jim Parsons announced his decision to leave the show despite being renewed again. He reportedly turned down $50 million for another season, forcing CBS and Warner Bros to announce The Big Bang Theory season 12.

JOHN GALECKI
Almost every successful comedy has this guy who stays so serious despite a hilarious storm. When this serious man is a nerd with an incredible IQ of 173; if he loves experimental physics, got a PhD at 24, loves reading comics, playing video games, and ends up marrying his longtime crush neighbor, then he’s definitely Leonard Leakey Hofstadter.
Leonard is a graduate of the private Ivy League research university, Princeton University and is truly a brilliant character. John Mark Galecki plays this role very conveniently, having been cast as Sheldon and earning around $900,000 for each episode since season 10. Galecki has been nominated for several awards from this character. He also won the Satellite Award for Best Actor, Series, Comedy or Musical in 2012.
JIM PARSONS
Jim Parsons (born as James Joseph Parsons) is an amazing American actor credited for several movies and TV series. He is best known for his very fine portrayal of Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory, for which he was nominated for several awards of which he won a handful. These include the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy in 2011, the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series four times (2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014 ) and the People’s Choice Awards as TV Comedy Star of 2018.
Sheldon Cooper earned his doctorate at 16, thanks to his photographic memory and IQ of 187. However, the Texan is truly troublesome in most social situations, preferring to brag about his talent and common sense. A theoretical physicist, he works at Caltech, as does his roommate and “best friend”, Leonard Hofstadter. In season 11, Sheldon married off the brilliant Amy a lot much to the delight of viewers. We should not tell you that he is part of the cast of season 12 of The Big Bang Theory.
KALEY CUOCO
Kaley Cuoco is an American actress and producer. In 2014, Hollywood Walk of Fame, the actress received a star. Her performance as Penny remains one of her best performances till now as she won several awards. In 2012 and 2013, she won the Satellite Award for Best Actress and the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. Kaley also received People’s Choice Awards as Favorite TV Comedy Actress in 2013 and 2014, among several other nominations.
Unlike her neighbors, Penny lacks educational qualifications but makes up for it well with her good looks and social skills. She’s an aspiring actress from Omaha, Nebraska, but she worked at the Cheesecake Factory for a long time as a waitress. Penny finally gave up on her acting dreams when she took a job as a pharmacy rep. Somehow she fell in love with Leonard after so much drama and the duo got married in season 9. She plays an important role in the story and it’s only natural for her to be part of the cast from season 12 of The Big Bang Theory.
SIMON HELBERG
Simon Maxwell Helberg was raised as a Jew and uses his deep knowledge of Judaism to play the near-perfect (if not perfect) role of Howard Wolowitz. Howard holds a master’s degree in aerospace engineering. He completes his studies as a womanizer and thinks he is having an affair with Raj, his best friend, before getting married and later marrying Bernadette. Unlike his friends and his wife, he does not have a doctorate. and is not a physicist.
Simon has won several awards as an actor but surprisingly none for Big Bang Theory. Like other cast members listed above, it’s hard to imagine a season of the show without Wolowitz’s character.
KUNAL NAYYAR
Kunal is a British comedian Punjabi actor who is reputed to earn up to $20 million in salary. He holds an MFA from Temple University in Philadelphia. His character in The Big Bang Theory, Rajesh Ramayan ‘Raj’ Koothrappali, however, is an astrophysicist and Doctor of Philosophy. incumbent. He is a collaborator of Leonard and Sheldon at Caltech. Raj displays selective mutism until the end of Season 6.
Kunal’s performance saw him nominated for five consecutive years (2012-2016) for the Screen Actors Guild Award (Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series), but he did not win any of it.
MAYIM CHAYA BIALIK
Mayim is an American author, actress, and neuroscientist who plays the role of Amy Farrah Fowler. Amy is also a neuroscientist on the show. She has a doctorate and is almost as socially awkward as Sheldon until she starts spending more time with Penny and Bernadette.
After many failed attempts at intimacy with Sheldon, they finally got married. Mayim won the Critics’ Choice Television award in two years (2016 and 2018) for her role as Amy. Big Bang Theory season 12 would be illogical without her as a cast member.
MELISSA IVY RAUCH
Bernadette Maryann Rostenkowski begins her time on the show as a waitress at the Cheesecake Factory and a student hoping to earn a doctorate in microbiology, a feat she achieved in season 4. She struck up a somewhat tumultuous relationship with Howard ; they broke up for a while and finally united as man and woman. She is very manipulative and we see that she exerts her influence on her husband, her father and even on Sheldon. She gave birth to a beautiful “screaming” baby girl, Halley, in season 9 and at the end of season 11, is pregnant again, this time limited to six months of bed rest.
Melissa Ivy Rauch plays this role. Her voice in real life differs greatly from her voice on the show. Bernadette’s high-pitched voice is inspired by her mother’s, while Ms. Wolowitz’s mimics her father’s.
KEVIN SUSSMAN
Kevin is known for Ugly Betty and BBT. He was first guest starred by Stuart Bloom BBT but became a season 6 regular. Stuart runs the comic book store that Leonard and his friends visit in Pasadena. He struggles with loneliness and low self-esteem, but still manages to land dates with Penny and then Amy before they get serious with Leonard and Sheldon respectively. He loses his business and moves in with Howard’s mother as a nurse until her death in season 8. In season 11, he is romantically linked to Denise, his employee, and is also Bernadette’s domestic helper.
