Being vulgar seems to be the real problem these days, especially for the fact that the world is becoming more exposed and civilized. Unfortunately, but true, young people are constantly exposed to images, discussions and content that most people would find harmful to African culture and moral statutes. This is because most of us hate to hear the word “gender” uttered or discussed in public, however, it is an overwhelming message that has been so widely disseminated by the mainstream media that it becomes almost inevitable to admit it Listen.
As technology advances, so does the use of obscene words. We have evolved to be more tolerant of the idea that sex is something that we speak freely about – either through direct conversation or through a visual medium such as film or photography. While some consider such topics to be obscene, in other cases they cannot be considered as such.
Yes, sex is not obscene in all cases, as it is, of course, a basic human function that is not only important to the future of the human race, but is an integral and compelling part of our existence. However, as it only occurs in secret places or behind closed doors, public speaking certainly sounds vulgar and spoils at least traditional Africans.
There are radio hosts in Kenya who love delving into such topics. Some do it to be happy and excited, some do it to educate the public, and some do it to make some money. If you’re curious to know more, here are some such radio hosts who sell their wares through sex talk.
Gertrude Mungai
Aside from being a radio host, GertrudMungai happens to be a sex and relationship lifestyle designer. She is a wife, mother, author/blogger, TV host and motivational speaker. Gertrude started her career doing vulgar dirty talks on TV at K24 when she demonstrated live sex positions. Some mothers or adult women have had to put their children to bed fairly early in order to achieve new positions that their husbands prefer to any other woman. No mother has ever allowed her daughter to know about the program and not talk about watching it.
Mbusii
Born in Korogocho, Mbusii (real name Daniel Githinji Mwangi) attended Eastleigh Airport Primary and Maina Wanjigi High School. As he got older, he took up selling soup, after which he landed mini-kid-friendly roles in high school plays. Other opportunities, including radio hosting, arose after the show “Crazy Kenyans” aired on TV.
As a radio presenter on Radio Jambo, he is known for constantly posing as a conscious rastaman. His lewd spirit gets the Ragae head very excited – but in a good way and he’s got a pretty good following for it. Mbusii lashes out at those who thrive and thrive in immoral and unacceptable activities. He calls the sexual intercourse “kupiga kuni” and is very critical of the immorality.
Maina Kageni
Most ladies love his manly voice, while some men hate him a lot, but Maina Kageni is the classic presenter who seems to be the bravest of them all. He discusses sex at 8am which makes the elderly so restless, uneasy and embarrassed when caring for the young in Matatus. Many have tried to criticize the boy to silence him, but he doesn’t care about everything. He hasn’t let haters on sex issues bring him down. He makes his “calling” perfect with his partner in crime, King’ang’i. Maina’s show generates a huge amount of cash for Radio Africa, with advertising money running into millions of shillings.
Cess Mutungi
The cess mutungi of the sweltering capital FM is visible among the vulgar presenters Kenya has been seeing lately. Even her profile picture on Twitter is often naughty and can sometimes be seen as extreme, especially considering her age. The presenter is still very single, so from time to time she is criticized by others. Still, those criticisms didn’t do much to slow them down. Regarding the explicit images she uses on her social media platforms, we don’t know if the naughty images she uploads are of her or of random women. Cess never hides from sex discussions to tell her own affairs. You could follow her on Twitter to find out more about yourself.
Babu Wakasiaka
Babu presents a late night show called Maji Makuu on RadioMaisha. The guy has a lot to talk about on his show, which many find too extreme, while others like it. Because of his bad behavior on the talk show, he decides to hide behind the scenes. We suspect he doesn’t want to show himself to us Kenyans, probably because he’s afraid of being seen as a vulgar person or because he can be shy and self-conscious in public when people know his true identity. The mystery man actually has no picture of him online.
