However, she has become the hot topic of the town. A couple has sued Banks and Thomas claiming that her monkey bit their child in the backyard of Banks’ home on Halloween night. They are seeking damages for gross negligence and defamation.

According to the complaint, the child was trick or treating with two friends when invited to go to a haunted house. After completing the haunted house, they were taken to the backyard of Banks’ to see a monkey.
They were told that it was a trained monkey for high-fives. But the monkey aggressively bit down the child’s hand and refused to let go. There was so much blood in the kid’s hand, and he could not see the injury to the full extent.

The lawsuit also alleges that she made a false statement on social media about the child not having any permission to visit the backyard to discredit the child and her parents.
