Dick Vitale is an American basketball sports commentator. A former head coach in the college and professional ranks, he is well-known for his 41-year tenure as a college basketball broadcaster for ESPN.

Dick Vitale is married to Lorraine McGrath.
The duo met at Blue Swann Inn, on Thursday, October 16, 1969, the day New York Mets won the World Series against the Baltimore Orioles.
Dick Vitale and Lorraine shared their vow on May 22, 1971.
The couple has two daughters, Terri and Sherri Vitale.
Terri Vitale
Terri Vitale is the firstborn of Dick Vitale and Lorraine McGrath.
Terri served as president of the Monogram Club from 2017-19. She later assumed the role of past president.
She earned three Monograms with the Notre Dame women’s tennis team before receiving her undergraduate degree in 1994. Vitale graduated summa cum laude with an MBA from the Mendoza College of Business in 1995.
Terri has also worked as an advertiser and media planner. She is currently the vice-president for Tandem Enterprises which creates dynamic website marketing and merchandising for its clients.
Besides her work, Vitale is involved with charities. She has worked with the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research and is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Community Foundation of Sarasota County.
Terri Vitale is married to Christopher Sforzo M.D., a 1994 Notre Dame graduate who played for the Fighting Irish men’s lacrosse team.
The couple has two children, Sydney and Ryan. Sydney is a sophomore on the Notre Dame women’s tennis team and Ryan is set to join the Notre Dames men’s lacrosse team.
Sherri Vitale
Sherri Vitale is well-known as the daughter of professional sportscaster Dick Vitale.
She is the second of two children. Sherri’s elder sister is Terri Vitale.
Sherri trained at Nick Bollettieri’s tennis academy, then scored a tennis scholarship to Notre Dame.
She also graduated from the University of Notre Dame with an MBA degree.
As founder of Tandem Enterprises, Sherri managed her famous father’s Web site which deals in product merchandising, media requests, speaking engagements, et al.
This allowed her to oversee promotional and marketing projects for companies like Pepsi, General Motors and American Express.
Sherri and her sister, Terri both played tennis for the Irish in the 1990s.
She is married to a Notre Dame football quarterback Thomas Krug, who is now a judge. Together the couple has three children, twin sons, Connor Krug and Jake Krug and a daughter.
