Teletubbies Cast & Voice Actors – Meet The Crew Behind The Reboot

After more than 20 years since the first episode aired, the fan-favorite Teletubbies are getting a makeover on Netflix. The well-liked children’s program, which has been seen in over 120 countries, will be back in November on the streaming platform with its brightly colored cast and gleaming sun.

Because the program’s first season, which ran from 1997 to 2001, was such a success, Netflix has decided it’s time for additional episodes. There is not a person who has not seen at least a picture of Teletubby somewhere. The show was very popular when it first aired and Netflix is trying to bring all the memories back again. People are excited to see what the new Teletubbies have to offer and how different it is going to be from the old one. Here are all the cast and information about the new Teletubby.

Teletubbies 2022 Cast & Voice Actors

Teletubbies 2022 has a great lineup of cast and crews. Without talented actors, the new Teletubby would not stand a chance of competing with the old one. While Sunshine On Leith actress Antonia Thomas will provide the voiceover for the opening and closing lines, Eric And Ernie actor Daniel Rigby will narrate the new program. The old program, which aired from 1997 to 2001, would be featured in the new one, but with “a revamped and modern aesthetic,” according to the producers.

Tituss Burgess

Burgess is an American actor and singer. He is renowned for having a high-tenor voice and has performed in several Broadway musicals. The Netflix comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015–2020), for which he has been nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards, is where he is most known for playing the lead role of Titus Andromedon. In 2005, Burgess had his outstanding Broadway debut as Eddie in the musical Good Vibrations. The following year, he played Hal Miller in Jersey Boys.

In a 2015 performance of Into the Woods by DreamCatcher Theatre, which was shown at Miami’s Carnival Studio Theater at the Adrienne Arsht Center, Burgess was given the typically feminine part of The Witch.

Burgess plays Kimmy’s roommate Titus Andromedon in the first season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which debuted on Netflix on March 6, 2015. Burgess’ performance was universally praised, and The New York Times claimed that the part was created especially for him.

He played Tang in “ZingZillas” for CBeebies in 2010, and in 2015, he took over the part of Dipsy in the Teletubbies relaunch, which John Simmit had performed before the show’s 14-year hiatus. In a later episode of the Teletubbies remake on Netflix, he will return as Dipsy.

He also made an appearance in the 2017 film Star Wars: The Last Jedi as Snook Uccorfay, a playboy in the Canto Bight casino city who resembles a mole. Rebecca Hyland

British actress Rebecca Hyland is well-known for her work in children’s television. In the 2015 Teletubbies relaunch, she played Laa-Laa as an actress. Hyland’s most well-known role is as Upsy Daisy in another Ragdoll production, In the Night Garden.

The 2015 reboot series saw Hyland retake the character of Laa-Laa. After Nikky Smedley from the first season of the series, she is the second actress to play Laa-Laa. The portrayal of Laa-Laa by Rebecca Hyland is quite similar to Nikky Smedley’s.

For Laa-Laa, Hyland’s voice is almost identical to Smedley’s. While Hyland’s voice for Laa-Laa is still giggly and high-pitched, it is a little bit lower than Smedley’s original voice for the song.
