Ted Hankey Footage Details
Ted Hankey made no further replies to all queries’ when police told him the event had been captured on video footage, according to the prosecutor.
The lady stated she now has ongoing anguish, panic attacks, and heart palpitations in a victim impact statement read to the court. The victim honestly felt nobody would believe her until the devastating evidence was presented according to Judge Everett.
The fact that Ted pinned her down, that attitude of entitlement, he used her as a vehicle for his repulsive and perverse sexual fantasies. The judge is confident that he will never play darts on television again because of his self-pity about the loss of prestige and capacity to make money.
The footage was played to the judge after the courtroom had been cleared of public and press.
Ted Hankey Case Update
Defending attorney Mark Connor argued for a suspended sentence, claiming that the attack was ‘opportunist’ and that Ted Hankey had acknowledged the crime and wished to apologize.
He would have denied it to the last end if it hadn’t been videotaped, Judge Everett responded.
The two-year prison sentence was welcomed by Cheshire Police. In addition, Hankey has been forced to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for the next ten years. The judge said that he would want to praise the victim for the fortitude and bravery that she has shown throughout the inquiry, said Detective Constable Laura Bradshaw, who oversaw the investigation.
