Tasya Van Ree Domestic Abuse And Violence Report: Was Heard Arrested?
During her recent defamatory trial with her former spouse, Johnny Depp, a video showing actress Amber Heard facing allegations of domestic violence against her ex-partner Tasya van Ree emerged last week.
The film depicts the actress responding to queries about allegedly violently assaulting photographer Van Ree while they were dating, which both refute.
After an altercation with Tasya at the Seattle-Tacoma International airport in 2009, Amber Heard was apprehended by the Port of Seattle Police. After she reportedly attacked Ree, Heard was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic violence.
A day after the event, the actress’ lawsuit was transferred to King County District Court in Seattle. The prosecutor, on the other hand, decided not to charge Heard.
Despite their supposed spat, Ree has remained Amber’s staunchest supporter. She said the actress was “wrongfully accused” of the 2009 incident.

Tasya Van Ree, a Hawaiian-born artist, and the photographer had a deep relationship with Amber Heard.
The couple had been in a domestic partnership since 2008, before same-sex marriage became legal in the United States, with Heard considering herself married to Ree, 45, and even going by the name Amber Van Ree.
Heard came out as bisexual in 2010, and the pair is said to have organized an exclusive celebration party when a same-sex wedding became legal in New York a year later.
Even when Amber moved on, Tasya and Amber are reported to have stayed close. According to an insider, “Tasya has always supported the actress. They’ve been through a lot as a couple.”
