An ongoing homicide investigation is underway in Omaha following a shooting in the Millard neighborhood on Saturday night. This is an obituary for Tanner Farrell, the teen who died due to the attack.
Medics and officials transported a small youngster to CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center, where he eventually died from his injuries. At around 10:11 p.m. on March 12th, 2022, officers responded to reports of a shooting near S. 161st and Monroe St.

Jason Farrell and Tiffany Farrell are the parents of Tanner Farrell.
In the 90s, Tiffany met her future husband at the same school where Tanner played baseball, Ralston High School. It looks like both of them are alumni of Ralston.
Tanner was their only son and was the middle child in the family. Farrell has one younger and one older sister.
