Stanley Kubrick Net Worth: Stanley Kubrick was an American filmmaker who has a net worth of $20 million dollars. Stanley was born in New York in July 26, 1928 to a Jewish family living in the Bronx. He did most of his filmmaking in the United Kingdom. During his early life, Stanley was considered a “bookish” despite his poor performance at school. He is now regarded as one of the greatest filmmakers of all time. His passion for film making started when he was given a camera by his father Jack Kubrick for his thirteenth birthday. This passion led him to take his first photographs of sites of New York, which he would develop at a friend´s dark room. After generating income with photography, he and a friend decided to take steps into movie making. His first work was the 1951 documentary “Day of the Fight”. This was followed by other short documentaries. Stanley was married to Toba Metz; they split after Stanley spent countless hours working on the 1953 film “Fear and Desire”. Stanley was recognized by his obviously great direction skills. He was a perfectionist and a deep enforcer of realism in his films. He filmed varied genres that included war, horror, epic, science fiction, literary adaptations and romantic comedies. Stanley died while filming the 2001 sci-fi drama “Artificial Intelligence: AI” from a heart attack while asleep in 1999. Upon his death, Spielberg, Stanley’s good friend, took over and completed the movie.
