Sylvain Tesson Accident Update
Sylvain Tesson experienced a bizarre accident in 2014, leaving him in a coma for ten days. In 2014, he fell the meters while climbing the facade of a house in Chamonix.
Due to the fall, he had 20 fractures and was confined to his bed at Pitié Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris for two months. He shared that he had experienced partial amnesia for almost four weeks during his stay at the hospital.
His memories in the hospital were positive, but he was in more pain when he got out of the hospital. He had broken bones, a few rib fragments in my heart, and screws put into his skull.
Due to the accident, he realized that physical pain is the absolute worst kind of pain. He could not close his eyes because of his skull fracture, and it was painful because the nerve is connected directly to the brain.
What’s Wrong With Sylvain Tesson?
Sylvain Tesson seems to be ok and has recovered from his accident, but he remains how dreadful the accident was as it resulted in him being paralyzed and made him go coma for ten days.
The writer did his rehabilitation alone by climbing the 422 steps of Notre Dame de Paris almost every day. His motivation for recovery was to travel to France.
After recovering, he went back to traveling and went to the Himalayas to observe the snow leopard. In the middle of winter, he drove on a frozen lake in Mongolia and experienced the traveling spirit again.
