Sydney Esiason might be known as the wife of the renowned ice hockey player Matt Martin, but she was famous before that.
She is the daughter of the four-time Pro Bowls winner Boomer Esiason. Her father played as a quarterback for fourteen seasons in NFL from 1984 to 1997.
He primarily played for Cincinnati Bengals from 1984 to 1992 and returned again to the team in his retiring year. Before that, Esiason senior also played with New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals for two seasons and one, respectively.
