Kathy Wrethman who vanished from her home in Australia in 1968 was missing for three days before she was discovered.
She was under the age of 5 years old when she was abducted from her home. Whoever took her, cut her hair. Police believed she was abducted by an unknown man.
She can only remember a dog in the room under her bed and someone coming in, opening the door, and saying ‘go to sleep’.
She does not remember being hurt or harmed at all. She was found 17 miles from home in New South Wales. She was discovered by three boys who were skipping school. She always wanted to meet them again.
Currently, she is estimated to be at the age of 40 years old while her rescuer seems to be at the age of 60 years old.

When asked what would she say to them, she said she would probably wrap them around in her arms.
She then got to talk to one of her rescuers named Mark Byrne. Mark was one of those three boys who found her. He said that they were wagging schools and they were not good boys at school but they had a good outcome that day since they got to save the little girl.
She really got emotional after she saw him and she broke into tears. She mentioned that thanking them was not even enough. She just can not believe it. That was a dream.
Of course, she feels like the luckiest lady in the world. She owes her life to those boys who saved her life. She can not believe it and just want to thank her rescuer.
