Meet SteVonté Hart Parents And Family

SteVonté Hart parents Yolanda Hart and Stephen Hart reside in Houston. SteVonté started acting when he was eight years old and his family supported the most.

Given that the young actor could be more active on social media, only a little can be learned about his family from his profile. Almost all the members of the Hart family seem to eschew social media.

The one exception seems to be SteVonté’s mother, Yolanda. Yolanda is very vocal on Instagram and also has a Twitter page. Fans can chart SteVonté’s career from the beginning to now through her Instagram.

The actor’s mother is very proud of him and has posted pictures of his acting projects from the beginning. One could mistake her Instagram page for a fan page.

However, she not only posts about her son. Yolanda is also a very politically active and vocal member of the African-American community. She constantly talks about African-American rights, police brutality, and the senseless slayings that have overtaken the country.

As for her husband, Stephen, he is even more private than SteVonté as he does not have any presence on any social media platforms. However, his appearances on Yolanda’s posts show that his family loves him very much.

SteVonté’s sister, on the other hand, does have an Instagram profile but has set it to private. She goes by Stevee Felice, her new last name after marriage.

Though Stevee’s husband is unknown, she has a daughter named Sevrin, who has her own Instagram page. Sevrin was born on April 2017.

SteVonté As Tray Melbert In Bel-Air

SteVonté’s most significant role is as the character of Tray Melbert in Bel Air. Tray is the best friend of the main character of Bel-Air, Will.

Peacock’s Bel-Air is a reboot of the 90’s sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” The original show ran from 1990 to 1996 and starred world-famous movie star Will Smith.

The original was a light-hearted and often heartwarming comedic sitcom. On the other hand, Peacock’s Bel-Air is a darker reinterpretation of the show set in the present day.

While the initial premise of the original show, the main character Will moving from Philadelphia to a mansion in Bel-Air to avoid gang violence, is retained, the new show deals with that subject matter more grimly.

SteVonté’s character, Tray Melbert, is part of that grim reinterpretation. Tray is Will’s best friend from Philadelphia who, unlike Will, cannot escape street violence by being whisked away to a new life across the country.

The story of the show kickstart when Will pulls a gun on a local drug dealer called Rashad Denton and sprays some shots to save Tray’s life after they get into a brawl with Rashad and his gang. Thankfully, nothing happens as the police soon come, and while Tray has been laying low, a couple of days later, he learns that Will has left for Bel-Air.

Tray’s main arc in the show revolves around trying to fend for himself while Will is safe in Bel-Air. He even gets shot but, thankfully, doesn’t lose his life.

Tray is under the impression that Will will someday come back to Philadelphia to be with him and the rest of their friends, but their friendship breaks when he visits Will at Bel-Air, and realizes Will does not intend to return.
