A man accused of participating in last month’s riots at the U.S. Capitol was arrested on Wednesday at Orlando International Airport, federal officials said.

According to the judge, Maldonado admitted to being a person captured in a photo showing a man breaking into the Senate Chamber during the Capitol riot.

FBI agents arrested Maldonado at the airport Wednesday morning as he was on his way to Puerto Rico with his girlfriend to enjoy the beach and see family, his public defender said.

The judge said the case will likely be transferred to D.C. In the meantime, the judge ordered Maldonado released on a $25,000 appearance bond, that he surrender his gun, passport and not travel outside of the Middle District of Florida, except for court proceedings.

The FBI said it tracked down Maldonado after a couple of people recognized him while watching news about the riots. One of them contacted the FBI and another person told the FBI that they received a video from Maldonado that he recorded at the Capitol riot.

The FBI said it cross-referenced that information with Maldonado’s driver’s license, social media photos, and surveillance footage from U.S. Capitol police.

On Jan. 6, hundreds of pro-Trump supporters stormed the Capitol as Congress was meeting to certify Joe Biden’s win in the presidential race.

Several other Central Florida residents have been charged in connection with the riots, including Joseph Biggs, a reported leader of the Proud Boys organization, and a Sanford firefighter.
