Stephen Gilchrist Glover, popularly known as Steve-O, was born on June 13, 1974, an American entertainer, television personality, stunt performer, and YouTuber.
Don’t Try This at Home, a DVD he released in 2001, had the video edited by MTV. Following that, 140,000 copies were sold. Don’t Try This at Home Volume 2: The Tour was made up of stunts he performed while on tour in support of the DVD.
Steve-O was arrested on July 31, 2002, on accusations of obscenity, assault, and second-degree battery for reportedly taping his scrotum to his leg on July 11, 2002, while giving a performance at a nightclub in Houma, Louisiana.
Following a number of delays, Steve-O and Louisiana prosecutors came to an agreement in March 2003 that placed him on supervised probation for a year, required him to donate $5,000 to a shelter for battered women and children, and forbade him from performing ever again in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana.
