Steven Kmetko (born February 16, 1953) is an American television presenter and reporter who specialises in entertainment programming. Kmetko was born in the Wisconsin town of Rhinelander. His most well-known role was as a host on the E! cable network. At one point in his career, he was employed as an entertainment reporter for CBS’s Los Angeles station (KCBS). Ted Casablanca was hired by the television station to take his position. His previous experience includes news anchoring for WAVE-TV in Louisville, Kentucky, as well as WOTV (now known as WOOD-TV) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 1999, Kmetko delivered an official speech “According to Nathan Lane, who came out in The Advocate, his motivation for doing so was as follows: “It’s like what Nathan Lane told you when he came out in The Advocate. It’s like what Nathan Lane told you when he came out in The Advocate.” It is about the events that occurred in the life of Matthew Shepard.

Perhaps they’ll look at me and say, ‘He has succeeded and has gotten out of prison with a fairly decent life.’ I hope so.” Following his interview with The Advocate, Kmetko presented the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association’s Excellence in Journalism Awards ceremony on October 4, 2005, at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, California, which was attended by hundreds of people. In May 2007, Kmetko began working as a general assignment reporter for KTTV Fox 11 News in Los Angeles, where he remains now. Kmetko is currently a celebrity interview coach who teaches celebrities how to conduct themselves in interviews. He is employed by J2 Strategic Communications, a media training firm, where he works with Bob Goen, Jon Kelley, and Terry Murphy. He has also worked as a producer and reporter for theadvocate.com, the website of the LGBT news magazine The Advocate, on numerous video pieces on California’s gay marriage verdict.
