Steve Kerr Wife: Who Is Margot Kerr?

Stephen Douglas Kerr (born September 27, 1965) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is an eight-time NBA champion, having won five titles as a player (three with the Chicago Bulls and two with the San Antonio Spurs) as well as three with the Warriors as a head coach.

Kerr is the only NBA player to win four straight NBA titles after 1969. Kerr has the highest career three-point field goal percentage (45.4%) in NBA history for any player with at least 250 three-pointers made. He also held the NBA record for the highest three-point percentage in a season at 52.4% until the record was broken by Kyle Korver in 2010.

Who is Margot Kerr?

A five-time NBA Championship winning coach couldn’t have achieved the things that he has without having a stable home. Integral to that place is a woman named Margot Kerr. She happens to be the wife of Steve Kerr.

Margot Brennan was born in Tucson, Arizona, in 1967. Her mum is Karen, a novelist, and professor. Karen reared her and her three siblings, Rachel, Chris, and Geoff, in Arizona. Margot went to a Catholic high school and then to the University of Arizona.

Steve Kerr attended the University of Arizona, where he was also a basketball player. Bruce Fraser, one of his teammates, hooked him up with Margot on a blind date. They did get along and began dating soon after. The two of them didn’t know that they’d still be together thirty years later.
