Steve Darcis held a press conference on Thursday to announce a news that won’t be pleasant for him and his fans either. The Belgian tennis player has not been playing since the Davis Cup last year in November against France, and he will have to wait still a long time to compete again.

The 34-year-old, currently 160th ATP ranked, already ended the 2018 season, that never started for him. He won’t play any professional match for the rest of the year. When he returns, he will be able to use the protected ranking as No.
