Biography – mom, dad
He was born Wardell Stephen Curry II on March 14,1988 in Akron, Ohio. His parents are Sonya Adams and Dell Curry who played basketball before his son. Dell Curry spent much of his NBA career playing for the Charlotte Hornets, so the younger Curry grew up with his family in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Curry’s had another son they named Seth and a daughter they named Sydel. The two boys would often follow their father to his games, shooting during warm-ups with other members of the Charlotte Hornets. Dell Curry later joined the Raptors and moved to Toronto with his family. There he ended his basketball career.
Brother – Seth Curry
Stephen Curry’s younger brother, Seth Curry, was born on August 23, 1990. His early path was very similar to that of his brother. He graduated from Charlotte Christian School and also earned all the conferences, all the states. However, he settled on Liberty University, where he broke the Big South Conference record for a season as a freshman. At Liberty, he opted for the number 30 jersey, which his father and later older brother wore in their own careers. He is currently a member of the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
