Who is Stefi Cohen? Wiki Bio
Stefanie Cohen was born in Caracas, Venezuela, on 28 March 1992, so her zodiac sign is Aries and she now holds both Venezuelan and American nationality. Stefanie is a soccer player, but better known as a powerlifter who has won numerous championships (25 titles) as well as for holding the APA Deadlift World Record of 402lbs.
Early life and education
Stefanie was raised as a single child in Caracas by her father who is a lawyer, and her mother who is a tailor.
She became interested in sports at a very early age, and was playing soccer for her elementary school’s team, while she was also good at running and playing tennis. Upon finishing elementary school, her family decided to move to the US where Stefanie enrolled at a high school, and played soccer for that school’s team too. She began going to the gym when she was 15 to sculpt her body, which would later become the most important thing in her life.
Upon matriculation, Stefanie did not immediately enroll at college but rather decided to focus on soccer and lifting weights.
After working out at the gym for some time, she decided she wanted to train other people, receiving her National Council of Strength & Fitness (NCSF) Personal Trainer Certification, and she then enrolled at college, obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in physiology and sports medicine in 2014. She became a Certified Strength and Conditional Specialist in 2016, and then became a Doctor of Physical Therapy candidate in 2018.
Career as a powerlifter and soccer player
Stefanie’s soccer skills led her to being invited to play for the Venezuelan National Soccer Team Under 17 in 2006, and she continued playing with them until 2009.
Today, Stefanie is serving as a personal trainer, while she is occasionally invited as a guest professor at several sports universities around the US. She became a Florida Senior State Gold Medalist in 2015 as well as an Illinois Senior State Medalist and a Record Holder in 2015 in weightlifting division.
She holds two records in powerlifting – the American Powerlifting Association Deadlift World Record of 402lbs (182.3kgs) and American Powerlifting Association Total World Record of 900lbs (408.2kgs), while her personal deadlift with straps record is 501lbs (227.2kgs).
Stefanie is also an Instagram star having gathered over 800,000 followers on her account, while she has uploaded nearly 3,800 pictures onto it, mostly of while she’s exercising as well as those of her everyday life. She launched her YouTube channel on 21 June 2016, which currently counts over 135,000 subscribers and close to 10 million views of all her videos combined – her most popular video is ‘Inside Stefi Cohens Competition Prep | California Vlog’ which has been viewed over 2.2 million times since it was uploaded on 31 May 2019.
Workout routine and dieting. Is she using steroids?
Stefanie doesn’t follow a strict workout plan, as she believes that she can sense exactly what her body needs, and then chooses to do the appropriate exercises. She has learned the hard way about the importance of having a rest day, as she pushed her body too far in the past, until she could no longer walk without having low back pain. Around the same time, she learned that circuit and long distance training can help her become stronger and improve her endurance. She does Cardio every day, as she believes it to be the most important part of her training.
Because she is a powerlifter, Stefanie should be focused on a single kind of training, but she has chosen to combine her workouts with bodybuilding and weightlifting, and has created her own way of exercising called Hybrid Training. As she has stated, the motto behind her training style is ‘to move like a weightlifter, look like a bodybuilder, and lift like a powerlifter.’
Stefanie is focused on high intake of protein so that her muscles have enough fuel, while she also has high intake of carbohydrates and healthy fats. She is mostly focused on eating fruits, vegetables, chicken meat and fish.
A lot of people believe that Stefanie is using steroids, and it’s also suspicious how whenever a person mentions on her social media accounts that she is using steroids, she blocks the person and deletes the comment.
Love life and boyfriend
Stefanie has kept the details of her love life hidden from the public, while it’s believed that she is currently in a relationship with a mysterious man as the two have been seen walking hand-in-hand in the streets of Los Angeles. She was in a long-term relationship with her college sweetheart for over four years before splitting due to wanting different things, as it’s believed that the man wanted a family while Stefanie wanted to work on her career.
There are also rumors circulating the internet that the popular powerlifter is lesbian, because she hasn’t talked about any men she might have dated, and because she often uploads pictures with women onto her Instagram account but never with men – she hasn’t commented on the rumors.

Stefanie is a huge lover of animals, and had a French bulldog called Riley who died in 2017; she now has another pet dog called Dex.
