St. Luke’s Orthopaedic and Trauma Hospital is an ultra-modern hospital started in the year 2012, after operating as a clinic and an orthopedics supplier since the year 2005. The Hospital offers both outpatient and inpatient services in its a facility which is located along Nandi Road, opposite the Moi University School of Dentistry in Eldoret town, Uasin Gishu County, Kenya.

OUTPATIENT UNIT SERVICES
Outpatient services are medical procedures or tests that can be done in a medical center without an overnight stay. Many procedures and tests can be done in a few hours. We at St Luke’s Orthopaedic &Trauma Hospital have a strong team of staff members at our outpatient unit that is well trained in the service they provide.
Our Triage center strives to provide the best outpatient service in the shortest turnaround time and get the client to see the doctor after the shortest duration possible. We also have a fully equipped Casualty and the Emergency room with a quick response team ready to cater to any emergency cases
INPATIENT UNIT SERVICES
Inpatient care generally refers to any medical service that requires admission into a hospital. Inpatient care tends to be directed towards more serious ailments and trauma that require one or more days of an overnight stay at a hospital. At St Luke’s Orthopaedic &Trauma Hospital we strive to provide a comfortable and serene environment suitable for quick recuperation of the mind-body and spirit.
Our aim is to ensure that the patient is placed in a ward that they feel comfortable in and one that caters to their costing needs as well. Our 90-bed capacity wards are categorized into four standards to the convenience of the client. We have a 4 bed ICU unit that is with high-level equipment and a strong team of certified nurses, specially trained to stabilize our critically ill patients We have around the clock team of dedicated doctors, nursing team, nutrition team as well as a physiotherapy team that is on deck to ensure the patients are well tended to

ORTHOPAEDIC SERVICES
St Luke’s Orthopaedic &Trauma Hospital was founded on a strong background of Orthopaedics and Trauma specialty. We have a strong team of Orthopaedic surgeons led by the founder and C.E.O of the hospital, Dr. L.K Lelei who has vast experience in Orthopaedic Surgery. We are the leading orthopedic center in the country and following through on our promise of providing quality healthcare,we use the finest implants in all our surgical procedures.
We have partnered with a globally recognized provider from Germany who supplies top quality implants for procedures such as hip replacement surgeries, total knee replacements and the like, thus giving the client the best possible outcome after such surgeries. NEUROSURGICAL SERVICES
Neurosurgery focuses on the central, peripheral and autonomic nervous systems. Practitioners diagnose problems through a physical examination with the aid of such tools as MRI, CT scans and laboratory tests and frequently provide surgical treatment. Neurosurgery includes management of diseases of the skull, the brain, the pituitary, and the spinal cord. KIDNEY TRANSPLANT SERVICES

We have partnered with NHIF in a scheme that enables the cardholder and his/her dependents benefit from having the cost implication undertaken by the insurer such that the client does not have to pay out of pocket for the MRI and CT scan services Our MRI center is located within the hospital compound and has a large enough lobby that holds clients who have come for these specific scans away from the normal outpatient clients.

The hospital is a referral point and also an orthopedic center, receives quite a number of patients with injuries related to motor functionality and thus may need, Rehabilitative services, Physiotherapy and /or, Occupational services. We have a dedicated team of physio and occupational therapists whose main aim is to get the client back into full use of their motor faculties.
