One of the most important MCU characters Wanda Maxomoff is said to die in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, even before the movie’s got released.
As the reviews have started to pop on the web, we can say that we are up for a roller coaster ride on 6th May with the release of Doctor Strange 2 on 6th May.
The insider says that it is chock-full of mind-bending graphics and massive action sequences, but it’ll also be Marvel’s most polarizing picture in years. The studio’s 28th picture is, unsurprisingly, its darkest to date, with several violent sequences that may be too much for a younger audience.
However, the major concern is the character development of Wanda aka Scarlett in this one. Does she actually die? What’s in the fate of your favorite Marvel character? Let’s find out.
SPOILERS: Did Wanda Die In Multiverse of Madness?
Wanda Maximoff or Scarlett Witch is rumored to die on Doctor Strange this time. However, these are just on the Internet as the movie is on the way to its release. We will actually have to wait for 2 more days before we can finally see if the predictions based on teasers and trailers are true or not.
Wanda Maximoff has the most substantial character arc in the MCU even though she never has had her own story. After her remarkable presence in The Avengers four times, we can see she can not have her own storyline in Doctor Strange.
With the teasers teasing the audience, people can only see her being one of the important personas in the entire movie plot to get rid of the multiversal threats. Now again, the other conjecture revolves around Wanda being the antagonist of the movie and will be showcasing her badass side to the audience.
We will have to give a benefit of the doubt to Wanda’s death as on the other hand, there are speculations that Elizabeth Olsen has signed a seven-year contract with the MCU. Having said that, we cannot say anything about the ongoing rumors yet and are waiting for 6th May to get all the answers.
Doctor Strange 2 Post Credit Scenes Dissected
If you are curious about the post-credit scenes in the second part of Doctor Strange, we can assure you that you are up for a surprise for sure with a cliffhanger leading to the path of 3rd part.
After the plot concludes, the film shows two sequences. The first scene is a mid-credits stinger that teases more of Doctor Strange’s future appearances. It also picks up where the movie leaves off at the finish.
This moment will almost certainly be included in Doctor Strange 3 or whenever Cumberbatch dons the Cloak of Levitation again. Like other Marvel teasers, the mid-credits sequence occurs immediately following the stylized credits.
The second scene, which occurs after the credits have rolled, is a wonderful throwback to an earlier scene in the film. It’s a pleasant wink and nod to the audience, but it has no bearing on the plot.
The post-credit sequences in Doctor Strange 2 maintain the trend that we’ve come to anticipate from Marvel. The first is generally a tease for a future episode, while the second is a humorous Easter egg or callback for fans.
